Role Overview & Responsibilities
Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS is seeking to employ a Machine Learning Software Engineer based in Waltham. This role involves collaborating with the team to create innovative technologies in Machine Learning for SOLIDWORKS products.
The selected candidate will focus on the design and development of architectures for AI and ML applications, utilizing machine learning expertise to tackle CAD challenges and innovate product design workflows.
Qualifications
- MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with 1-3 years of experience; Ph.D. is preferred.
- Strong understanding and interest in machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques.
- Preferred experience in designing architectures for AI and ML applications.
- Thorough grasp of design, CAD, machine learning, and simulation technologies.
- Robust foundation and expertise in mathematics.
- Development experience with modern technologies such as client-server architectures, web development, and cloud computing is advantageous.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C, C++, JavaScript, Python, R, or Matlab.
- Willingness to learn and master new software technologies independently.
- Capability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
- Enthusiastic, self-driven individual with a strong desire to learn and implement feedback into work.
- Highly organized and attentive to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English

Salary Pay Transparency
Compensation for this role will be reflective of experience. The anticipated total compensation range is between $114,743 and $174,000, encompassing base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
